It was meant to be a Spring wedding at Clock Barn, but nobody counted for “The Beast from the East” hitting our shores.
There were many conversations within the wedding party about how the weather was going to progress. Would it snow first thing? Would that affect attendance? How would it affect the day? When you play the photo film (above) you quickly realise that it was an apprehensive start. Me? I was actually really excited and up for a snow day! I know the Clock Barn team well, it’s an eventuality that they are prepared for, the food was ready and alternative routes into the venue planned. I’ve photographed 200+ weddings and none of them were snow days so this would be a first! Having looked at the hourly forecast in the morning, I knew we were going to get a dusting at best. However Sarah took my advice and Brough some white boots just in case.
Of course it’s also the couple and their guests that make a wedding and it was such a lovely day. You can hear all the stories by viewing the PhotoFilm above. Sarah was more than happy to don a furry white coat and (well hidden) wellies for some pictures in the snow and everyone had a wonderful time.
We were there to capture the fun and romance of the day … and loved every minute of it!
