We love getting to know our wedding couples. This is so that we can help put them at ease in the run-up to their wedding day and pick up bits of information about them and their plans that we can include in their images. Also, a relaxed couple make for some lovely natural images. We avoid “stiff poses”!
About Darren.
Darren has always been a keen photographer since the day he got his first SLR camera at the age or 14. It remained a hobby whilst he persued his career in radio as a scriptwriter, broadcaster and manager. During that time he work with and for some of biggest names and brands in the industry.
It was his own wedding that sparked a passion to combine the people skills from his broadcasting days with photography. He also loves a good wedding! Who wouldn’t want to be part of someone’s most special day?
Darren and Pippa have two young children aged under 5.
About Lucy.
Lucy is our second photographer and is currently studying photography at University in London.
As a team they can combine experience with a constant stream of new ideas to keep their images fresh, fun and contemporary.

When you book Darren as your wedding photographer, you get their own wedding website! Darren also arranges meet you about 2-3 months before the wedding date for a pre-wedding photo shoot. This is another opportunity to get to know you which is often the inspiration for our photography on the day.
On the day Darren will start by taking natural wedding images of the bride having her make-up and hair done and then some photos with the flowers, Mum, Dad and the bridesmaids. At the same time Lucy is taking natural pictures of your friends and relatives arriving at the wedding venue.
Then it’s off to the wedding venue, a few shots of the groom, and we’re ready for the main event! We shoot, reportage style photography, covering the bride’s arrival and fun and romance of the ceremony itself!
Once the ceremony is finished and you’ve walked down the aisle as husband and wife we take a mixture of posed and natural images of you, your friends and family … and confetti.
Now’s the time we get to spend a little time with just the two of you. If possible, we suggest somewhere away from the wedding party and spend 20 minutes taking a mixture of natural, fun and romantic images of the both of you.
We then slip back into the background taking natural images of everyone enjoying themselves through the speeches until the first dance.
