OK OK, yes this is a bit of a plug for my business, but this idea has worked so well, I wanted to share it with you.
For a while now I’ve been offering couples the chance to hire out our studio to take pictures of guests during the evening. We got a booking here and there and we do get some real fun shots from this. But there can be the perception that only certain people will be brave enough to go up and have their picture taken. That was until we introduced the speech bubble chalk board.
I first introduced it as an experiment last summer. It was a STORMING success. As one bride put it “It’s the ultimate guest book” (Thanks Michelle). Anyone could come up and write a good will message, or something daft. It helps their personality to really shine through. I am just amazed at the uptake of our “PhotoBooth” with the addition of this little prop. We have such fun shooting these and family and friends have such fun writing their messages.
