I’ve come across some wonderful flower arrangements over the years. Florists to a truly amazing job. Trouble is, what if you’re a hay fever sufferer or just want something a little different?
On doing a little research for this article, I came across two ideas.
1. False flowers.
A search on Google will bring up lots of companies who can create the most colourful displays of false flowers that look like the real thing. Which can be ideal if you are looking to match a specific colour scheme as you won’t be restricted to in-season blooms or pay extra to import them.
Lavender Blue Flowers is a local company to me. As well as your traditional bouquets, they also create false flowers using felt and buttons. It’s such a quirky idea, I’ve never seen anything like this before. I recently invited them over to the studio to photograph their button bouquets.
2. Go veggie!
You would be amazed at the wonderful variety of colours you can get with a vegetable bouquet. Have a read of this article and see what I mean.
