We had a wonderful time shooting Lucy and Seb’s wedding at Pitt Hall Barn and within the estate itself. And what a great choice for a wedding car!!

One of the wonderful things about where I live is that you get to meet such wonderful a mix of people. Lucy and Seb are one of those couples who completely embrace the countryside around them. This wedding photography commission was a local affair. Their wedding ceremony was only a five minute walk from my house in our village church and the wedding reception was at Pitt Hall Barn.

I loved the way they went for something different in choosing their wedding car (See image below). Although their journey, between the church and Pitt Hall Barn, was slower than other modes of transport, they had much more fun. They had plenty of time to consume the champagne on board! Such a fun day which shows in their wedding photography and the bride and groom wedding images we shot within the farming estate.

We had such a fun time at Alice and Jim’s wedding at Audleys Wood!

With it being a winter wedding you can’t always rely on the weather. That never fazes us as I believe those darker winter afternoons just add to the ambiance of the day. When shooting wedding photos outdoors, you get the warm glow of of the lighting from the main building at Audleys Wood.

Once again our Photobooth also proved a big hit with some funny messages for the Alice and Jim as well as some warm wishes as they begin married life together.

What a stunning venue to hold a wedding!

Rhinefield House Hotel is tucked away in The New Forest and was just perfect for Anne-Marie and Richard’s day! You couldn’t have wished for better weather either for the wedding photography.

Wherever we looked there were people having a great time. Wherever we went, we found a great place to shoot images of Anne-Marie and Richard. They had a wonderfully fun wedding day, and some lovely images to talk about in years to come…

As a wedding photographer, you always look forward to covering someone’s special wedding day, but we were pretty excited about this one….

When I first met this Vickie and Ross, they were a fun couple. “This’ll make for some lively wedding photography” I thought. Great! Then they showed where their wedding was being held, Wellington College. Such a stunning venue to celebrate your wedding day. Wow! But nothing prepared me for the day itself. Wedding guests who were having the time of their lives, a wonderful venue, great weather (Well, OK, there was that 20 minute downpour, but they were just about to sit down for their wedding breakfast anyway!) and the PhotoBooth went down a storm! Wherever we pointed our cameras, there was a special moment to be captured.

It really was a wonderful day to be “working”!

As far as I know, no other UK wedding photographer is doing this…..

We are always hungry to try out new ideas. Like this one we added to our PhotoBooth. From the moment we switched on the studio lights we were shooting all night long. It’s never been so popular! It was as simple as having a chalk board in the shape of a speech bubble. It was an ideal way to personalise the pictures with a message, whether it be heartfelt or humorous. Most wedding guests did at least one. I’ve never laughed so much as I did on that evening!

They say that you should never work with children or animals. Well, as a portrait photographer, if I banned them from my photography studio, it would be a quiet place!

We had 5 young girls here the other day. They were a lot of fun and had no problem with playing in front of the camera.

Wedding Photography Testimonial – The Vineyard Stockcross Newbury Berkshire

From start to finish, our experience of Darren Wingham as our Wedding Photographer was totally amazing. He was professional and courteous and altouugh my husband and I used to hate having our photographs taken, Darren instilled confidence and poise in us both!

On the day itself, he was prompt and kind – even taking the time to photograph my very heavily pregnant hairdresser and our dog! Nothing was too much trouble and he was fanstasic in his dealing with us and our large wedding party. No-one felt that he was intrusive in his approach and they enjoyed posing when asked!

When we saw the photos, they brought us to tears – the whole day was brought back to us in beautiful pictures. The music overlaying the dvd was so appropriate and very cleverly done!

I would thoroughly recommend Darren and Real People Photography to anyone – so glad we found him to capture the magical moments of our special day!

Studio_Portrait_Photography

When people book a family portrait session at our photography studio, we always encourage them to bring some of their children’s stuff along with them. It needs to say something about who they are. It can be an outfit, favourite shoes or toys. It also helps to relax children, so we can get natural images of them having in the studio.

The Parkin family didn’t just bring along a toy, they brought basket overflowing with them!! And we certainly had fun photographing their daughter amongst them all.
