Actually, compact cameras can be MORE complicated to use that the SLR cameras used by professionals!
These tiny machines are driven by some complex software and hardware to make it as easy as possible for you to pick it up, press the button and get a good shot. However, they do mistakes and some people feel that have to be a computer expert to work the thing!
Very soon I will be e-mailing regular photography tips which, I hope, will help you understand how that camera of yours “thinks” and works, some basic photography rules and some ideas for you to try out.
