When I met Vickie and Ross recently at Wellington College, I wasn’t sure who was more excited about their upcoming wedding…. them or me! It’s such a wonderful setting for their big day. Stunning architecture well kept gardens, and a couple who can’t wait to enjoy their day.

But it is something we can quickly overcome and, within minutes, they were laughing and joking their way around the venue. They also shared some of their plans for the day too. It’s exciting stuff. Star Wars Wedding Photography.

Michele and Trevor are one of THE biggest Star Wars fans I have ever met. It’s not every day, as a wedding photographer, you get to meet Darth Vader (Or should that be Lord Vader) at the church entrance. Neither was Michele! She got quite a surprise when she saw him at the alter!

The vicar was very relaxed about the whole ceremony and small church gave a wonderfully cosy feel to the whole proceedings. The day certainly wasn’t short of laughs and everyone had a great time at Michele and Trevor’s Star Wars wedding.

…. and we may have added a few “Special Effects” to one or two of the images….

Peacocks in our back garden!

It’s not every day you get a pair of peacocks fly into your garden! They’ve been the talk of the village for the past week as they’ve hopped from garden to garden.

Nobody knows where they’ve come from or who owns them. Some say their call sounds like a strangled cat. But, as a former city boy, I love them being here.

However, they are vulnerable to attack from foxes. So if you know of someone who’s lost their peacocks or can help in any way, come to Overton and follow what sounds like a cat being strangled!
